WELCOME TO THE SARNIA-LAMBTON CHAPTER OF
THE CANADIAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION

Welcome to the Sarnia-Lambton Chapter of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our Chapter consists of parents, relatives and friends who are dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Cystic  Fibrosis research.

Including the Sarnia-Lambton Chapter, there are 50 Chapters across Canada all of which consist of volunteers committed to finding a cure or control for CF. This site will provide you with information on your  local events, the latest research news and adult CF clinics and tell how you can become a volunteer.

A CURE FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS ?

Currently, there is no cure for Cystic Fibrosis, the most common genetic disorder affecting young Canadians today. But we face the future with growing confidence and hope.

Cystic fibrosis is one of the better understood human genetic diseases, and ongoing trials of treatment aimed at reducing the devastating symptoms of CF have been conducted with some success. However, a cure which is effective in everyone with CF is still some years away.
